Questions
Which database engines can I host for free?
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Valkey, FerretDB, libSQL, PocketBase and Supabase are on the Free plan. ClickHouse starts on the Pro plan.
What happens when a free database is idle?
It scales to zero after a few minutes without connections and wakes on the next one, which usually takes a moment. Paid plans can keep databases always on.
Where do the databases run?
On servers Enzonic operates in the United States, behind TLS on every connection. More regions are planned.
